After watching the movie one is not sure whether travis is a Hero Or A villain.Travis is lonesome taxi driver who hides about his job from his parents and tells them a lie that he is in a government service.He is tired of the system and sick of the fact that he is all alone.he loves to watch A movies and take his date to A theaters.The character Is very controversial but De Nero played this one of the best film role very well.

Defining Moment:- The Shootout Scene At The End Of movie.

Michael corleone at first look,is an innocent person in evil society.A war-return soldier who stays away from his family business.But later when his father is attacked and after survival he announce to retire then the role of michael comes in play. He knows his Big Brother sunny is short-tempered and his other brother Freddo is a dumbo.So,he decides to overtook his father's business and to bury down all his enemies.Al-Pacino finely played this one of the top movie character finely.

Defining Moment:- When at the end he kills his enemies one by one.

Indiana Jones is a film character that was loved was almost everyone and it increased the interest of people in archaeology.A Man who love adventure and can survive in almost any condition.An ideal hero with great comic timing and best attitude.The role was given to a lesser known actor Tom Selleck at that time but as he turned the role the director passed it to Harrison ford and rest is history.

Defining Moment:- The Nazi driver chase scene.

Forrest Gump is a fella who have id below average but surprisingly he would inspire you from his interesting tales.He met 5 U.S. presidents,was present at many historic moments(though unknowingly) and unintentionally he inspired many trends.He played ping-pong,was in Vietnam war,did shrimp business and ran for more than 2 years when he felt heart broken.Tom hanks who played Gump won academy award (consecutively) for best actor for one of best film characters.Also Forrest gump is one of the best romantic love movie.

Blondie ,Joe,manco or best known as Man With no name is portrayed as a tough cowboy by clint eastwood.Blondie is a skilled bounty hunter who most of the time look for work and ways to benefit himself.He may cheat to win but at times he may overlook his personal benefits to help others.Unlike other cowboy heroes of that era clint eastwood portrayal of blondie was much different(the unshaven beard was one example).Blondie overall is a perfect example for an anti hero.

Defining Moment:- When he saves tuco just before he is going to be hanged.

One should learn from heath ledger how to steal a show in the presence of A-List actors like Morgan Freeman,Gary Oldman,Christian Bale,Michael Caine,Aaron Eckhart.His role as The joker in Batman movie was superb.His devotion to the role was so much that he remained in a flat for 3 months to prepare himself for the role.And the whole time he was surrounded by batman books,movies and comics.He got involved so much in the role,that he developed Joker in himself,as a part.Though he died short after the release of movie,yet he was able to win Oscar for this one of the best movie character.

He is head of one of the most powerful criminal family,The Corleones.He is honored by fellow mates in the business,feared by the powerful politicians and film stars and is loved by the whole Corlerone family.Marlon Brando stars as Vito Corlerone in this best gangster movie of all time.The character was made immortal by him and is considered as masterpiece role in acting.

Defining Moment:- After his retirement, advising Michael of how his enemies will move around him.

Imagine P.O.T.C without jack sparrow...Impossible,would be the first word that would struck your mind.Hats off to johnny Depp who made this character so lively.Captain Jack sparrow is listed among the best movie characters of all time by many critics and world-wide magazines.Johnny Depp showed the other side of pirates.Captain jack sparrow who is cunningly smart and would trick you from his wits and wisdom.A Pirate who is sexy,stylish and yeah need not to mention Loves Rum.Not only he is one of the most famous movie character but his costume is also in demand for Halloween dresses ideas.

Defining Moment:- His enterance, When He steps on the deck proudly, everyone looking at him and his ship was drowning.

Who You Think is the reason of success for a movie

There is a lot of information about character acting and very few explanations. I would like to try and provide some explanation on this topic because it's among the most important ones for an actor.

If you search for "character actor", the first thing that pops out in Google is (in Italian): "they say they are more than actors, if actors perform but do not participate". As soon as I read that sentence I thought: "Wtf? o.O ". All my life I believed that we were all just actors, while some of us were good and others not so much. There was no discussion on what character acting entailed, after all we're just actors, right? WRONG!

Ronald Tucker: I can identify with characters more than the actor...I can reall the Shaft movie starring Richard Roundtree and how the remake that starred Samuel L. Jackson did not have the same chemistry and box office success as the original.

Shadrosky: I love a good method performance, but I think a character sticks in the memory much more powerfully

squidshe: Definitely the acting, you can have a great script but if the actors can't pull it off, it sinks.

BelindaBlevins: I think its both. After all if the acting is bad then the character is ruined.
